Sound artist Christina Kubisch has put together a sound walk for the HeK, through which one can experience the surroundings of the Dreispitz-Areal in a completely new way. Equipped with special headphones, you can listen to electromagnetic fields – in other words: hear electricity! The map leads you to 10 special sound locations on the Dreispitz area.
The headphones (max. 4 available) and a guide including a map can be borrowed at the ticket office during opening hours against a deposit of an official identity card.
Age: from 7 years
Costs: free
Duration: approx. 1 hour, depending on route and speed
There are several works of art to discover around the HeK, such as a band of mushrooms playing music on the roof, a secret digital letterbox and an architectural glitch in the facade.
Discover the abundance of the HeK blog: listen to interviews with artists talking about their work, find further background information on topics related to exhibitions and be inspired by do-it-yourself instructions from workshops we have run.
