Pe Lang, Johanna Bruckner, Jennifer Merlyn Scherler Schweizer Medienkunst - Pax Art Awards 2022

The main award winner Pe Lang creates impressive kinetic installations in which the always visible mechanical elements contribute to a magical and poetic effect. The two newcomers Johanna Bruckner and Jennifer Merlyn Scherler present new video installations. While Bruckner stages her reflections on the fluidity of gender in moving images, Scherler playfully analyzes representations of identities and self-representation as reflected in popular culture and social networks. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with Art Foundation Pax, an independent foundation for the promotion of digital and media-based art in Switzerland. We are looking forward to welcoming you on Friday, 31.03.2023 at 19:00 to the opening where we offer some drinks and snacks after the speech of the curator of the exhibition Boris Magrini.
