Glitch: The Hiccups of Images

18:30-21:30 13.05.2015

Fascinating images can emerge from defective data. Ted Davis introduces methods of specific data manipulation, in order to experiment with image and video. After a short introduction to his work with glitchs, Davis will talk about Datamoshing and show how simple tools such as hex editors can modify and examine images and other data. Participants will be able to apply what they learned in a hands-on-process and refine their results with their own data at home.

Workshop in English.
